Winged Emigration Winged EmigrationWinged Emigration by ~TerraForce
There comes a time
for every family
When the young fledglings
must take off
In nature
this time is usually a shove out the door
But for humans
it is a time of solemn departure
Everyone bravely says good bye
as if the young'n was only a friend
A span of settling-in,
feather-straightening,
wing-stretching
soon ensues
But is there any friend
closer than family?
The tears come later
as the ties do sever
Good to see things coming out of left field once in a while
For something to be a memento for someone else, the best ones would be those made personally, and I'm sure he appreciates the effort you've placed into this pic. Its a good sign of friendship =3

Coming out of left field is a good way to describe a lot of what I do, in general. XD When I was young and playing little league baseball, that was where they put me a lot of the time, too, so I suppose it makes sense.
My ability to make the kind of mementos I would like is hampered by my relative lack of artistic ability, so I'm always happy when it works out at least a little bit. He seemed happy with the piece, too, which was nice. Still waiting on him to frame and hang it, though. XD
